Drawing Now Art Fair 15e edition

La Galerie Jean Louis Ramand est heureuse de proposer un stand consacré au travail de Marie Havel. En focus sur ses pratiques artistiques fondatrices, seront présentés des dessins aux flocages de modélisme et des dessins au papier de verre sur tirages photographiques.

L’artiste inscrit son travail dans la retranscription d’un cycle continu de construction et de disparition. Elle éprouve un vif intérêt à mettre en lumière des lieux façonnés par une histoire commune et lointaine en regard de matériaux et d’usages plus intimes. Dessinés aux flocages de modélisme, les paysages de ses séries Le Ravin du Loup et Plage du Terminus, dévoilent des fragments d’ouvrages fortifiés en béton des départements de l’Aisne et du Pas-de-Calais, aujourd’hui étroitement mêlés aux sols, à leur végétation.

Née en 1990 dans l’Aisne, Marie Havel est diplômée de l’Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier. Son travail a été exposé au FRAC Occitanie-Montpellier, à la Fondation Villa Datris de L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue et très récemment au MO.CO. Panacée à Montpellier. A son actif, de nombreuses expositions personnelles mais aussi collectives, notamment lors de salons et foires.

Ses œuvres se trouvent dans différentes collections dont la Fondation Helenis GGL(Montpellier) la Collection Château de Chassagne-Montrachet et bien d’autres.

Galerie Jean Louis Ramand is delighted to present a booth dedicated to work by Marie Havel. Focusing on her founding artistic practices, will be presented, drawings with model flockings and drawings with glass paper on photographic prints.

The artist’s work is based on the transcription of a continuous cycle of construction and disappearance. She has a keen interest in highlighting places shaped by a common and distant history in relation to more intimate materials and uses. The landscapes in her series « Le Ravin du Loup » and « Plage du Terminus », drawn with modelling flockings, reveal fragments of fortified concrete structures in the departments of Aisne and Pas-de-Calais, which are now closely mixed with the land and its vegetation.

Born in 1990, Marie Havel is graduated from Montpellier Art School. Her work has been shown at the FRAC Occitanie-Montpellier, at the Fondation Villa Datris in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and very recently at MO.CO. Panacée in Montpellier. She has had several solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad, especially at art fairs.

Her works can be found in various collections including the Fondation Helenis GGL (Montpellier), the Collection Château de Chassagne-Montrachet and many others.
